Yoga Classes and Teacher Trainings

I took my first yoga class at the age of 21 and knew from that day on that I would be doing yoga for the rest of my life. I have explored many styles of yoga including Iyengar, Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow and Bikram. I am deeply fascinated by yoga philosophy and incorporate it into my daily life. My style of teaching could be described as creative Vinyasa Flow with an emphasis on challenging sequencing and transitions and special attention to the breathe. I believe a yoga class should be both challenging and relaxing and should not ignore the subtle aspects of yoga and the ultimate point of the practice, which is to find stillness and peace.

I live in South Africa and visit India annually to practice and share yoga and expand my knowledge.

Ashleigh runs an annual teacher training and teaches group and private yoga sessions.  She also does yoga and movement therapy with autistic children at CARE (Centre for Autism Research and Education)

Ashleigh is an E-RYT (Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher) and owner of the HFPA Yoga School in South Africa
